Wonderful Website Support

Celebrating the launch of our new website – “Thank You Webzang!

Back in January Eleanor Hayes at Webzang made the amazing offer of a free website re-build to offer her Frome College Year 10 work experience student Sam Shearman a real life web build opportunity.

Eleanor stated “Webzang is committed to supporting students through meaningful work experience placements and every year we gift a website to a local charity or cause so we can both give something to the community, and also give our students real life web-building experience. We have worked with the Pod Charity already and knew the amazing work they do with young people and thought it was a perfect fit…..They then went on to win Frome’s Charity of the Year the week before we started working on the new website, and made us feel really happy that we were able to give them a new website to recognise their achievements.

Sam did a fantastic job of learning web design skills and applying them to the site, and he really enjoyed the experience, and pretty much built the entire site himself.”

They have worked so hard over the past months to help us create a new and user friendly site, which delivers on our hopes of being fun and informative, but also easy to navigate for our members and families.

We can not thank them both enough for the time and dedication to The Pod for delivering this.

As a small charity, we thought a complete web re-build was beyond our reach.

We hope you agree, they did an amazing job. Thank You Eleanor & Sam.
