The Pod Charity
Supporting Young People and Adults with additional needs, Young Carers and their Families.
The Pod Youth Club was set up in 2013 by parent carers and children with additional needs, prior to the youth club opening there was nowhere for children with additional needs to go to make friends and socialise with others.
Our member led charity is small but growing, reflecting the need for our service and the high esteem in which we are held by our members and partners.
What we do
The Pod Charity organise a wide variety of groups and activities for a variety of age ranges.
Impact
The Pod creates a safe haven for Children, Young People and Adults, opportunities for fun, friendship and community involvement – a sense of belonging.
The charities success is largely due to our talented team of trained and experienced Youth Workers who inspire, guide and support the Children and Young People, encouraging them to try new things and take risks.
