Pod Youth Club
The Pod Youth Club runs every Tuesday night during term time between 5.30-7.30 pm.
The group meet at Vallis Youth & Community Centre, Frome BA11 3EF.
Young People who attend have additional needs and are aged between 10 – 17 years. The ratio of staff to young people is typically 1:3

Activities chosen by the members have included Onesie film nights, sports and swimming, Jewellery making, cooking and seasonal arts and crafts. Young People are free to take part or just relax and read a book if they wish.
We ask for a contribution of £4 to attend the club, if financial support is needed please do not hesitate in talking to us.
Young People are supported to run their own Tuck shop and as you can imagine this is very popular! Members are asked to bring an extra £1 to buy a drink and snacks from the Tuck shop at half time.
Please note that Pod Youth club is currently at capacity and there is a waiting list to attend. We welcome contact from Parent Carers and referring professionals to discuss available options and other services in the community.
Young people with 1:1 needs are able to attend with a Carer or Personal Assistant however a waiting list may still apply.
Zone
The Zone Young Carers group meets in term time on a Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm once a fortnight.
The group also meets in the holidays for fun days out.

Young People who attend are aged 8-16 years however existing members are welcome to stay until they turn 18 years old. Many,but not all of the Young Carers have a disabled brother or sister – they really do benefit from spending time with peers who have an understanding of the differences in their home lives.
Activities led by the Young People; almost always include some form of cooking which can involve a lot of mess and competition! Other activities have included gaming on the Wii, pamper sessions and sports. As with our other clubs, the program is planned with the Young People but they do not have to take part in anything they would prefer not to.
