Themes for each disco are chosen by the regular disco goers and its always a fun night of singing and dancing. Come along and give it a try.
SCRAPSTORE – Pod Scrapstore has run 6 successful events. Pod members are supported to bring a treasure trove of objects and materials for art craft and play to the community. A favourite of schools, nurseries, families, and community groups.
Look out on social media for our next Pop Up Event. We will be opening our appointment collection service for charities, community groups, education and care providers soon.

JAMM – Just A Monday Meetup sessions’ are a space to come along and have a pause, or chat. The kettle is on, the biscuits await and there is always someone to share the highs and lows with. Once a month for Parent Carers from 10am -12pm, at Gorehedge Community Room, Wesley Slope, Frome. Please Contact us for upcoming dates.
Community Partnership – The charity works with local partners to ensure that families know about local opportunities and initiatives. Although some of these activities do have a fundraising element the focus is on supporting and encouraging Young People, Families and Friends to take part in community activities under the umbrella of The Pod, building confidence, improving life skills and a sense of emotional well-being.
Previous activities have included;
• Children’s festival – This is an annual event that sees families running a cake decorating stall, a sticky, messy stall but a favourite for the little people attending the festival!
• Lions fete, Spin the wheel to win a prize, game designed by the children at youth club
• Pod Squad – our annual involvement in a local marathon event sees Pod families and friends taking part, boosting their self esteem and physical wellbeing.
• Charity Bingo.
• Diversity Day – An interactive information stall focused on improving awareness of Disability within the community.
We welcome new ideas on how we can get involved in community activities.
