Book Launch Celebrations

by | Nov 29, 2024

On Monday 25 th November, Pod members, families and staff held an official launch party for their book, ‘Hopes and Dreams’.

Frome Town Cllr Fiona Barrows attended on behalf of the Mayor. She was moved by the enthusiasm and creativity within the members and congratulated everyone on their achievements as authors. This book celebrates the charity’s 10th anniversary and the remarkable growth of the charity over the years.

Project members from Pod Plus, Pod Youth Club and Zone Young Carers group wrote and illustrated this beautiful and inspiring book, using materials from The Pod Scrapstore.

This could not have happened without the support and collaboration of Author & Publisher Jenna Herman, who came into projects to inspire and coordinate the project giving her time for free.

Hopes and Dreams is on sale at Hunting Raven Bookshop for £6, with every penny going towards supporting Pod projects and development.
